New Florida laws, effective January 1, 2025, mandate that while documents on a POA/HOA website must be accessible, certain sensitive information must be protected. This includes personal homeowner data and internal board communications such as contracts, budgets, insurance policies, and BOD certificates of completion. It's critical that POA/HOA websites now have secure login portals and document storage to prevent unauthorized access. These documents are accessible for Cambridge Greens 1st Addition POA Parcel Owners and employees of the association only. Contact LCAM, Trudy McLaughlin at VSC for the username and password. |
Annual assessments for 2025 will remain at $138, and were due on January 1, 2025.
The Cambridge Greens Septic-to-Sewer construction project began on October 16th, 2023, and was expected to last 520 calendar days. However, the Contractor has requested an extension due to unforeseen issues. This being the case, the extended end date is now May 29, 2025. After that date, residents will be notified of Sewer Availability, and the Residential Service Connections phase of the project will begin. This process will last one year, concluding sometime after May 29, 2026. The Citrus County BOCC Website has the latest information about the Cambridge Greens Septic-to-Sewer Project and Timeline.
Beginning in June 2022, a septic-to-sewer project was implemented in the Cambridge Greens and Cambridge Greens 1st Addition Subdivisions by the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in cooperation with Citrus County to reduce nutrient loading into the local aquifer. Cambridge Greens and Cambridge Greens 1st Addition have more than 160 aged septic tank systems over 20 years old, and currently over 400 systems in total.
